Education has always been my passion and I am thrilled to have a variety of teaching experiences.  I first started my career teaching second grade at Dwight Elementary School in Hartford, CT.  Next, I returned to my hometown and childhood elementary school, West Hill School, and taught third grade for nine years.  I enjoyed every minute of it and continue to enjoy teaching in a new capacity, as the Math Resource teacher.  In this position, I get to teach math to students at every grade level, meeting with students in one-on-one, small-group, and inclusion settings, and collaborating with teachers to best meet students' needs.

While education is my career passion, family fun is my personal passion!  I currently live in a nearby town, raising my three children alongside my husband.  We have two daughters and one son, ages 6 months, 3 years old, and 5 years old.  We enjoy family outings, such as hiking along the Farmington River, going to the park, swimming at the beach, sledding in the winter, playing soccer, and attending dance class.  My children keep me on my toes and are a wonderful reminder of how I expect the best in education for my own children, as my students' parents would expect for theirs!
